GACK!

Sorry for the lack of updates lately. I’m loathe to say much, but I will say that I am still a part of Antoine Sharp Volume 2, it’s just going to be EXTREMELY late due to circumstances that have nothing whatsoever to do with me. Issue 2 has been done on my part for a bit, so that’s about all I know / can say about it really.

In the meantime, as I said last post, I’m working on issue 19 of Hack/Slash, and still slowly plugging away at CUPID (HI, LARRY YOUNG at AiT/PlanetLar … Yes we’re still here, yes, it’s slowly being worked on, and YES it’s ballooned by about 50 pgs from the 144 we said we’d keep it at. Sorry. Nature of the beast).

I’m 75 pgs in to CUPID, it was planned to be about 140-ish. It’s most likely going to be in the 180-200 range. I love the book with all my heart, but it just takes a long time to do each page, and even longer when I have to find other work to pay the bills. So, yeah. Hoping it can be done by San Diego next year. I’m getting ready to draw a bear of a chapter that will simultaneously be one of the hardest and most fun things I’ve ever drawn in my life. Grueling and Rewarding is the name of the game when it comes to working on CUPID.

Our pitch for Murder City is out to a couple places, we’re waiting to hear back and we’ll let you know as soon as we know anything worth typing.

Doomsday Girl is very much a “when I get around to it” thing, so don’t expect it to be regular, just expect it to be what I want it to be. That said, the second strip is half done. I’ll probably just post it and the third next week.

Um, what else? I dunno. Desk shots have been lacking because I just haven’t bothered to take them. I’ll try to get back on the horse with those.

I’ll be at the Mo-Kan Comics Conspiracy show this weekend in Kansas City, MO. Stop by and say hey to Hopeless and I. Hester, Parks and most of the usual KC regulars will be there, I’m sure.
